Most upperclass students live in individual dormitories that are not part of a residential college."

Quality of Academics

  • In a fashion very similar to other schools, Princeton has what appears to be an online sort of forum for class content, etc. called Princeton Blackboard.
  • Also have something very similar to Regis (SCORE)
  • Does a quick check show existence of any structure to promote high-quality teaching (Y/N): No, system is similar to what Caltech has, although some of their precepts (recitations) are held by professors
  • If so, briefly describe:

Administrative Structure

  • Link to Org Charts for Student Affairs, Student Gov't, etc... when available
  • Link to Undergraduate Student Government: http://usg.princeton.edu/
  • Student Government: Not sure what they do specifically, seems that they are mostly in name only and are relatively invisible in terms of doing things (opinion of only one Princeton student)

Student/Campus Center

  • It seems as if Princeton utilizes its student centers as ways to celebrate its campus' diversity.
  • There are several different centers:
  • -The Carl A. Fields [1] Center for Equality and Cultural Understanding
  • -The Kathryn W. and Shelby Cullom Davis '30 International Center [2]
  • -The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Center [3]
  • -The Women's Center [4]
  • It is not immediately clear from the Princeton website if there are general student/campus centers, but further communication with the students should clear this up soon.
  • Decision-making process for allocating rooms:
  • Area (in ft^2):
  • Student Groups Provided Space:
