Proposed Bylaw Amendments
The following Bylaw Amendments have been presented to the ASCIT Board of Directors, but have not yet been acted upon.
- Budget Amendments
- The Dues Timeline Amendment would change the timeline for revising ASCIT Dues to reflect the provisions of the Financial Aid Office.
- The Big T Assessment Amendment would combine the Big T assessment with the general ASCIT Dues and the Tech Subscription fee.
- The Fiscal Year Amendment would change ASCIT's fiscal year to match the academic year.
- The Endowment Amendment would create rules for the recently created ASCIT Endowment.
- The Club Amendment formalizes rules for the recognition and funding of clubs.
- BoD Policies and Procedures
- The BoD Policies Amendment forces the ASCIT BoD to adopt a document defining their policies and procedures.
- Online Voting
- The Online Voting Amendment creates provisions for fully online voting for ASCIT elections.
- Another Online Voting Amendment from the 2006-2007 BoD specifies rules for fully online voting for ASCIT elections. Special emphasis is put on defining the error of an election, as well as the protest periods.
